Beverly Dillow

Jim and I have been married for 43 years and we have two children who are each married to their perfect soul mates. If that isn’t wonderful enough, we have 7 precious grandchildren. Watching our children live full lives and spending time with our grandchildren brings us great joy.

I served along side My Jim in full-time ministry for 20 years and then served in our local church while starting up and running our own successful business. During this time, I homeschooled my two children through graduation. I've been a youth pastors wife, pastors wife, nursery director, women’s ministry director, women’s Bible class teacher and anything else that needed doing. I also spent several years speaking for a ministry sharing my testimony, “Daddy, Do You Love Me?”

Home decorating is one of my favorite hobbies along with crafting, reading, traveling, writing and blogging. I probably should add lunching with friends and shopping. When I get to spend time with grandchildren, it's even more fun! My motto is "Live life to the fullest!" I'm doing my best!

I've always had a heart and concern for our country. I'm now serving on our city Planning and Zoning Commission as well as our city Airport Board. I love seeing how city government works. My first city board to serve on was a Crime Commission which was my first taste of city government. I've also volunteered in several other ministries and organizations.

My latest endeavor is a tea room in my home. My Jim added on a small room that is now what I call, “Beverly’s Tea Room.” I've loved entertaining family and friends with all the essentials for a tea time; scones with lemon curd, quiche, croissants and a salad along with a delicious dessert with just the right tea flavor in a beautiful tea cup.

In 2016 I was certified by Shari Braendel of Fashion Meets Faith as a Christian Image Consultant. Fashion has been a love of mine since a young girl. I had dreams of being a fashion designer/fashion buyer but pursued other dreams. I'm excited now in this season of my life to be able to enjoy all things fashion while serving others at the same time.

Color Analysis & Style Consultations

When we discover the colors that look the best on us and then dress according to our personal fashion style and body shape; the confidence is amazing. You want to walk in a room, not your clothes. Together we will learn how to do that with ease.

Hospitality

As a young girl I had two sweet aunts who I watched as they ministered to my little broken family. I learned a lifetime of lessons from them in the way of hospitality. It took me many years to realize you didn't have to have the perfect home to share hospitality. If you saw the parsonage we lived in, you would understand. I am still learning to this day and I have enjoyed the journey. I love sharing my favorite crazy stories of my efforts. All that to say, if I can do it.....trust me, anyone can.

Group Events

While serving in full time ministry, I was always working on a project for teen girls or women of the church. As a lay person, I volunteered as a women's ministry director for many years. I love seeing women coming together excited to learn and have some fun. When God's women get together and sharpen each others swords, get ready because great things will soon happen in the lives of women who want to glorify Christ!
